Sunday

Woke up hungry, found fettucine I made last night, heated up, still looks & smells nice, here it is:I know I know, normally fettucine goes with white sauce, but all I had in the fridge were mushrooms, mince and tomato paste, so I've decided to do whatever I like to food again.

Addition @ 10pm
Hungry again in the afternoon, found leftover dumplings made by parents, re-boiled them and made "sour soup dumplings". This is one of my favourite food back home, where after dumplings are cooked, rather than serving them plain with dippings, they are served in "heavy" soups where spices, vinegar are added, garnished with pickles and spring onion, coriander etc. As seen below:

FYI - My stock of instant noodles ran out.......

OMFG that looks sooooooo good, and this is coming from someone who HATES noodles!! :D

And those dumplings look quite nice! :D My grandma makes quite the killer dumplings. I guess it's a Chinese thing. Or it's just her. I don't know. I just make good tomato sauces...and all I do is heat spaghetti sauce or marinara sauce until some water evaporates so it gets thicker. Killer, I know.

Yummy. My mouth is watering for those dumplings. I used to live in Taiwan and they made dumplings with pork and shrimp inside. To die for!
